Writing Tidbit: The Tree

The tree stood as a large sentinel on the land jutting into the bay.  It spread its large branches across higher ground slowly swelling from the flat land around, too gradual to be called a hill.

The oak had large multiple trunks, each with the diameter of a large tree itself.  The trunks and large branches stretched out in all directions some running almost parallel to the ground.  They reached and stretched until the tree’s diameter was larger than most suburban houses.

The picture showed two insignificant and tiny people standing at the base of the tree, the tree towering over them like nature’s skyscraper.
