On a Personal Note: Celtic Music and Kitchen Chemistry

During my writing sessions I’ve started listening to Celtic instrumental, in addition to classical music. It adds something to the experience (and it drowns out in part the sounds of my family in this old creaky house).

So thankful to be able to sit down and work on my writing this morning, bad cold or not. Even if the work consists of scheduling posts for social media for May!

It’s been a great week outside of writing (and the whole throat/cold thing). We now host a science-engineering club for my son and some of his friends Friday afternoons, and it’s been a blast!

Yesterday was our first kitchen chemistry day, and it was so much fun cooking, making ice cream in a bag, and making fizzy lemonade.
